Mayor
The City of Helotes Council is composed a Mayor and five (5) Council persons; elected at large, and serving a two (2) year term. The City's General Elections are held in May Annually.
- Odd-Year Elections: Mayor and City Council Member Place 3, and Place 5.
- Even-Year Elections: City Council Places 1, 2, and 4.
Voting takes place at the City of Helotes, City Hall Council Chambers, located at 12951 Bandera Road, Helotes, Texas 78023. To verify voter registration and view polling locations, visit Bexar County Elections website.

Council members are elected at-large, for two-year staggered terms, with two elected on odd-numbered years and the remaining three in even-numbered years.
